Nadia Zaffar is a TV Journalist from Karachi, Pakistan.

From 2006-2010 Nadia worked as an Anchor and Producer at DawnNews, Pakistan’s first 24-hours English language news channel. With DawnNews from the very beginning, Nadia was involved in some of the major news stories covered by the channel. She reported from the flood affected areas of Sindh in 2007 and presented and planned the special transmission for General Elections 2008. She presented live during the Lal Masjid and PNSC fire episode and was on air when emergency was imposed.

Prior to joining DawnNews, Nadia worked on documentaries at Business Plus TV and New York Times Television. Nadia studied International Relations and Film Production at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts. She was Chair of the Model United Nations MHC Chapter and received a number of awards for her participation. She is currently pursuing a Masters degree in broadcast journalism at Emerson College, Boston, Massachusetts.
